Thank you for your interest in our school. We are excited that you are considering FBCA for your child’s education! You will discover that we are a Christ-centered school fully committed to excellence in education.
We seek to partner with parents who seek to put Christ at the center of their lives and desire to teach their children to do the same. The key to this success is a unified effort by the family, the church, and the school. FBCA is a special place where we fuse faith and learning, and where godly people can assist you in nurturing your child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
We believe the best way to get to know FBCA is through a campus tour where you can visit classrooms, speak with faculty and see first-hand what a difference FBCA can make for your child and family. If you have not already done so, please consider making an appointment to visit our school.
Again, thank you for your interest in First Baptist Christian Academy. May God bless you as you search for a school for your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, our admissions team is ready to assist you.
Jeanette Wold, Admissions Director
First Baptist Christian Academy is an extension of an evangelistic, Bible teaching church. The school seeks to assist parents who desire a Christian education for their children. One of the goals of the school is that each child come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to develop a living relationship with Jesus. Therefore it is important that parents who wish to enroll their child understand and agree with this goal.
Admission is based on results of standardized testing, previous school records, teacher recommendations, transcripts, entrance testing, and observations during the admissions interview. First Baptist Christian Academy does not offer an organized special education program. It is our policy not to accept students requiring this type of education since we are unable to meet their educational needs.
Students under suspension or expulsion from another school are not eligible to enroll in FBCA. It is the desire of FBCA that the student in question, return to his former school as soon as possible and place himself under the proper authority of his school; he may then apply to FBCA out of a desire to receive a Christian education.
Students with conduct grades which, when averaged, are C or below, or Guidance Center referral for the preceding semester has been made, will not be permitted to enroll at FBCA. If there are indicators of discipline problems, contact with the student’s previous school will be made for clarification.
All report cards and achievement test scores will be reviewed when accepting students. Students transferring in will be given an admissions test. New pre-k and kindergarten students will be given the Developmental Readiness Test before admission.
First Baptist Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid, athletic, or other school administered programs.
